Away from the din and noise of the city, in the lap of Mother Nature amongst lush green and peaceful surroundings, stands an imposing edifice of the great Saint of Shirdi – Shri Sai Baba. It vibrates peace and provides relief to a large number of persons, who throng the place. The spiritual atmosphere of the place is soul stirring. As devotees approach the complex, they experience bliss within and forget the worries of life.
Started in a thatched hut with just a small picture of Sri Sai Baba of Shirdi in 1988, the temple situated in Faridabad and popularly known as Sai Dham, with the grace of Sri Sai Baba, has grown into a premier Sai Institution. It stands on a three-acre piece of land, donated by its founder Saisevak Motilal Gupta and is about 30km from the Capital of India – New Delhi.
It has a spacious hall of about 600 sq. meters floor area and a mezzanine floor of 300 sq. meters with immaculately laid floors of white, green and yellow marble with a 5.25 feet life-like white marble idol of Baba installed therein which looks compassionately on His devotees and sheds His grace all around.
A beautiful Panchmukhi (five faced) Shiva temple, in Saidham, enhances the spiritual vibrations of the place. Devotees are provided an opportunity to perform Rudrabhishek of Lord Shiva along with chanting of mantras.
This perpetual holy fire was lit by a flame brought from the holy fire ignited by Sai Baba in his life time in Shirdi. Pooja of Akhand Dhuni is performed with sacred mantras every morning and before each Aarti.
