Faridabad, November 30. Sri Shirdi Sai Baba Temple Society of Tigaon Road and the Rotary Club of Delhi South-Central Conference organized the the 30th mass marriage ceremony where in 25 poor girls tied the knot.
The Social Justice and Empowerment Minister youths Krishan Pal Gurjar, chairman of Sri Shirdi Sai Baba Temple Society Motilal Gupta, Legislator Mr. Vipul Goyal, Mrs. Seema Trikha and Mr. Rajesh Nagar showered their blessings on the newly wed couples. Master of ceremony was done by Mr. RD Sharma, a major philanthropist.
Speaking to those present on the occasion, Mr. Gujjar bestowed Kanya-Daan as the Maha Daan as per Hindu Shastras and appreciated this pious occasion. He mentioned that organizing marriages is becoming more expensive these days and it’s going out of reach of poor families to marry their girls. Such a humble platform of mass marriage conducted by Sai Dham is a great social act. He also highlighted that the aims and acts of Shirdi Sai Baba Temple Society, Sai Dham are incomparable with any other social service in Haryana as well as in India. He has also promised to apprised other members of the parliament about exemplary deeds of the society.
Motilal Gupta, chairman of the organization in his address said that so far 501 poor girls have been maried via the mass-marriage ceremony with the overall expenses of around 25 lakhs.
Mrs Kanta Gupta, Chandra Sharda, Krishna Bhatt, Manmohan Gupta, Tilak Raj Sharma, Amit Garg, Anoop Garg, Prem Amar, RK Jindal, PD Gupta, BS Jain, M. Bidani, DN Kathuria, Pradeep Gupta, Ashok Gupta, BR Mahajan, OP Garg, Rakesh Juneja, Raahul Awasty, Pradeep Sharma, Beenu Sharma, KA Pillai, ML Mehta, Raj Kishore also blessed the couples.
